Discontinued Day #17 - Catrice LE Arts Collection in: Forevergreen and Bronze-Deco

Buonasera a tutte!!
Il Discontinued Day è il giorno in cui mi diverto a tirare fuori dai cassetti pezzi di collezioni ormai introvabili, comprate da tempo e mai swatchate.
Oggi è la volta di questa bella collezione di foil della Catrice. Ne avevo presi tre, fra cui il rosa, e oggi ve ne mostrerò soltanto due.
Bronze-Deco è un oro foil caldo e un po' aranciato. L'oro da solo sulle unghie non mi fa impazzire, ma questo non mi è dispiaciuto, forse perché non è un oro vero e proprio! Due passate e nessun problema di stesura (senza top coat nelle foto)

I love the Discontinued Day because I always find some discontinued and old limited edition not yet swatched and bought some time ago...
Today you're going to see this beautiful collection of foils by Catrice. I'll show you only two of them, but I bought also the pink one.

Bronze Deco is a warm orange-gold foil. I don't like so much a full gold manicure, but this one is quite pretty! Two coats and a good formula (no top coat in the pics below).

Devo dire che suo fratello verde è decisamente più nelle mie corde, anzi, lo adoro!!
Stessa formula di Bronze-Deco.


I must say that its green brother is definitely in my comfort zone....Even better, I'm in love!!

Discontinued Day #9 - Catrice L'Afrique, c'est chic LE in Rouge Bien Sûr, Quel Bleu Turquoise and Sunny Side

Buongiorno a tutte!
Oggi ritorna il Discontinued Day e io vi propongo una LE di smati textured di Catrice uscita la scorsa estate e di cui ho preso tre boccette.
Il primo che vi mostro è Rouge, Bien Sûr, un rosso medio dalla qualità sorprendente: un one coater! Sono presenti in tutta la collezione dei microgranuli che danno un po' di lucentezza in superficie.

The Discontinued Day is back and I chosed to show you a textured LE from Catrice which came out last summer. Here are my pics.
The first one is Rouge, Bien Sûr, a medium red with an amazing formula: a one coater! In the whole collection we find some micro-granules which enlighten the surface.

Il secondo è l'azzurro, Quel Bleu Turquoise: coprente in due passate, uno splendido azzurro molto estivo ^___^


The second one is Quel Bleu Turquoise: opaque in two coats, a beautiful summery blue  ^ ___ ^

Il terzo, Sunny Side,  è quello che mi è piaciuto di meno. Mi piace come colore, ma non sulle mie unghie :-D
Anche lui coprente in due passate.


The third one, Sunny Side, is my least favourite. I like this color, but not on my nails :-D Two coats in these pics.

Giardino d'inverno # 8 - Esperimenti con Catrice Pinkroque + Essence Not punky nor funky

Buonasera a tutte!!
Dopo una giornata quasi infinita eccomi a rilassarmi un po' nel nostro Giardino d'Inverno ^___^
La nostra Francine ha suggerito il tema di oggi: Carnevale e dolci di Carnevale!
Ho deciso di puntare su qualcosa di molto semplice: i coriandoli, e ho pensato subito ai glitter!
Adesso vi mostrerò cosa ho sperimentato.... Avevo in mente un abbinamento che mi sembrava molto carino dalla boccetta. Per base un foil rosa di Catrice dalla LE Arts Collection, e come glitter il topper della LE Be loud della Essence. Ho utilizzato il mio must have per il Giardino d'Inverno, il top coat matte della Butter London. Lasciatemi dire che i foil resi matte sono per me qualcosa di strepitoso. Adesso vorrei provare a rendere matte tutti i miei foil perché l'effetto mi piace davvero moltissimo *___*
Poi però l'abbinamento di questi glitter con il Catrice proprio non mi è piaciuto. Non so bene cosa fosse, ma qualcosa proprio non andava!!

After an endless day I wanted to relax a bit in our Winter Garden ^ ___ ^ 
The lovely Francine suggested today's theme: Carnival and Carnival sweets! 
I decided to focus on something very simple: confetti, and for me confetti are glitters! 
Let me show you my experiments .... I saw two bottles which seemed very nice together. As base Pinkroque from the Catrice LE Arts Collection, and the glitter topper from the LE Be loud from Essence. Furthermore a must have for this Winter Garden, the Butter London matte top coat. 
Let me say that the mattified foils for me are amazing. I would like so much to mattify all the foils that I have in my stash.
However, this combo in particularly is just not my cup of tea. I don't know what, but something just wasn't right!

Volevo aggiungere qualcosa per vedere se glitter e base potessero legare un po' di più, e così ho tirato fuori uno degli smalti che mi ha regalato mio marito per Natale: il Matte holo top coat di Mentality, un marchio indie. Sapevate della sua esistenza? Io no.
Alla fine però è venuto una specie di sandwich e i glitter si sono fusi con tutto il resto: il risultato secondo me ha un suo perché :-D


I wanted to add something which could go well with base and glitter, and so I tried this Matte holo top coat from Mentality, an indie brand. Did you know anything about it? I didn't. 
I think I quite like the final result :-D

Ringrazio il sole per essersi mostrato dieci minuti per poter fare queste foto, e voi per avermi seguito fin qui.

Some winter stamping

Buongiorno a tutte!
Come state? Spero che abbiate passato uno splendido Natale con tutte le persone cui volete bene e vi siate rilassate a tavola! Io sono stata un po' di giorni in Trentino in pieno relax ^__^
Ho un po' di foto da mostrarvi, scattate prima di partire, in tema natalizio.
La prima è uno stamping fatto sulla base I'm backstage, il verde acqua shimmeroso della Beauty Beats LE di Essence. Lo trovo un colore molto carino! Il bianco sopra non fa abbastanza contrasto, e il risultato è fin troppo soft, ma alla fine non mi dispiace! Gli alberini invernali li ho presi dalla stamping plate Jumbo plate 6 Happy Holidays della Cheeky.

How are you? I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with all the people you love and you had some relax at the table! I have been some days in Trentino Alto Adige relaxing myself ^ __ ^

I have a couple of pics to show you, taken before leaving, in Christmas theme.

The first is a stamping done over I'm backstage, the shimmer aqua green from the Essence LE Beauty Beats. I think it's a very nice color! There's not enough contrast between the aqua green and the Konad white. The result is maybe too soft, but I like it anyway! The winter trees come from the Jumbo plate 6 Happy Holidays from Cheeky.

Per la prossima stampa avevo pensato di usare l'oro Suspect della LE Thrilling me softly di Catrice. Devo dire che da solo non mi è piaciuto per niente. Un colore troppo smorto che non sta per niente bene con la mia carnagione. Ho provato ad abbellirlo con il mio amato Dragon di A-England. Al sole, dove si vedono gli sbrilli holo non è male neanche questa! ^^


For the next stamping I wanted to try the gold Suspect from the Catrice LE Thrilling me softly. I don't like it on its own. I think it's too dull and it doesn't match my skin color. I tried to improve it with my beloved A-England Dragon. In the sunlight, where you can see the holo sparkles, it's not bad at all ^^
