Googlando fra le immagini ho scoperto che è molto più arancione di quello che immaginavo, e allora ho deciso di fare una velocissima nail art con il mio fido fan brush usando:

Base gialla: Kiko Sun Show LE # 467 Quindim Gold
Arancio: Kiko Sun Show LE # 469 Delicious Mango + Shaka Glam Love




While I was searching some pictures on the web I found out that the yellow topaz is much more orange than I thought, so I decided to make a fast and easy nail art with my beloved fan brush using:

Yellow Base: Kiko Sun Show LE  # 467 Quindim Gold
Orange: Kiko  Sun Show LE # 469 Delicious Mango + Shaka Glam Love

Birthstone Challenge # 10 - Opal: Color Club The Uptown over black

Ciao a tutte!
Arrivo in ritardo per il post della Birthstone challenge di questo mese, perdonatemi! L'opale è una pietra che mi piace moltissimo, così come mi è piaciuto avere l'occasione per indossare ancora tantissimi flakies sulle unghie!!
Esistono tantissime versioni di flakies topper, e si assomigliano un po' tutti, quindi sappiate che la mia manicure non è il massimo dell'originalità!
Per oggi ho scelto Color Club The Uptown, che ha una base jelly viola in cui sono immersi tantissimi flakies. Per mettere i flakies in evidenza l'ho steso su base nera, perdendo però il viola della base.
Rispetto ad altri flakies topper qua secondo me c'è una maggiore concentrazione di flakies, che danno luogo a una manicure semplice, ma d'effetto. :-)
I colori variano dal rosso-arancio al verde-oro, una passata di CC sopra una di A-England Camelot.

this month I'm late for the Birthstone Challenge, please forgive me! I like Opal very much, as I loved having the opportunity to wear so many flakies on my nails !! 

There are many flakies topper in the shops, and they all look quite the same, so I won't be very original this time!

For today I chose Color Club The Uptown, which has a purple jelly base full of flakies. I layered it over a black base in order to focus more on the flakies, but you won't see the purple base.

In my honest opinion, compared to other flakies topper here the flakies are denser, and the result is simple, but cool :-) 

The colours shift from red-orange to green-gold, one coat of CC over one coat of A-England Camelot.

Birthstone Challenge # 9 - Sapphire: Chresy #55

Ciao a tutte!!
Oggi torna la Birthstone Challenge e la pietra del mese di settembre è lo splendido zaffiro! Questa pietra blu, il cui colore può variare dall'azzurro all'indaco scuro, rappresenta storicamente la purezza dell'anima e durante il Medioevo proteggeva dai pensieri impuri.
Per rappresentarla ho scelto uno smalto dal colore blu profondo, il mio primo Chresy, e sono rimasta positivamente colpita dalla sua qualità!
Se lo si guarda da vicino si vede che la base scura è illuminata da una miriade di microflakes di un blu più chiaro, e alla luce del sole si intravedono anche dei riflessi violacei. E' coprentissimo, quasi un one coater, e si stende praticamente da solo! Unico difetto: la longevità, infatti ha cominciato a rovinarsi dal primo giorno, sob!
Nelle foto ho comunque dato due passate più top coat.

Today the Birthstone Challenge is back and the September stone is the beautiful sapphire! This blue stone, whose color can vary from a pale blue to a dark indigo, historically represents the purity of the soul and during the Middle Ages it protected from impure thoughts. 

I chose to represent it with a deep blue nail polish, my first Chresy, and I was greatly impressed by its quality! 

If you look closely you will see that its dark base is full of light blue microflakes, and in the sunlight are visible some purple flashes. Furthermore it's almost a one coater and so easy to apply! Unfortunately its longevity is very low. I saw some tipwear the first day!

Birthstone Challenge # 8 - Peridot: Shaka CH1 Bronze ft. Elevation Polish Aguja St. Exupery as special guest

Quante di voi conoscevano questa pietra prima che la Chanel lanciasse il famosissimo Peridot? Io no, però trovo che sia una pietra bellissima!
Ho scelto per rappresentarla uno dei numerosi dupes del Peridot di Chanel, lo Shaka Bronze, un multichrome che copre tutti i colori della pietra, dall'oro al bronzo al verde. All'ombra si possono vedere tutti comodamente!!



How many of you knew this stone before the well-known Chanel Peridot? I do not, but I find it a beautiful stone! 
I chose a Chanel Peridot dupe to represent it, Shaka Bronze, a multichrome that covers all the peridot colors, from gold to bronze to green. In the shade you can see them all without any problem!!

E poi, dato che mi piace giocare con i top coat, ho provato a dargli qualche sbrillo olografico, aggiungendo una passata di Elevation Polish Aguja St. Exupery.


And then, since I like playing with top coats, I added some holographic bling, with a coat of Elevation Polish Aguja St. Exupery.

Birthstone Challenge # 7 - Ruby: Pahlish Blood Red Jam

Buonasera a tutte!!
Devo innanzitutto scusarmi con tutte voi: ieri ho dovuto saltare l'appuntamento con la Birthstone Challenge dato che per due giorni il collegamento internet mi ha lasciato a piedi, sigh!
Avevo però già tutte le foto pronte, e vorrei mostrarvi lo stesso lo smalto che sta a simboleggiare il rubino, la pietra del mese di luglio.
Ho scelto il mio primo Pahlish, preso da Edgy Polish l'anno scorso in periodo di saldi: è un rosso dalla base jelly e il finish foil (strano mix, eh?) pieno di glitterini molto fini iridescenti e viola/arancio. Il nome dello smalto viene da un pezzo di Lana del Rey:

"My old man is a tough man, but he's got a soul as sweet as blood red jam" -Lana Del Rey


La formula è un po' densa, ma lavorabile, ed è opaco in due passate (+ top coat nelle foto).

I must first apologize to all of you.  Yesterday I had to skip the Birthstone Challenge because I had been without internet for two days, sigh!
My pics were ready, and I would like to show you which nail polish I choose to symbolize the July Birthstone, the ruby.
It's my first Pahlish, bought from Edgy Polish last year during the sales.
It has a red jelly base and a foil finish (weird mix, huh?). It's also full of tiny iridescent and purple/orange microglitters. Its name comes from a Lana del Rey song: 

"My old man is a tough man, but he's got a soul as sweet as blood red jam"-Lana Del Rey 

Its formula is a bit thick, but workable, and it's opaque in two coats (+ top coat in the pics below).

Birthstone Challenge # 6 - Pearl: Naj Oleari Crystalizer # 111

Buonasera a tutte e benvenute alla Birthstone Challenge!
Giugno ha due pietre del mese, e potevamo scegliere se rappresentare la perla o l'alessandrite.
Avevo fra le mani uno smaltino che mi sembrava perfetto per la perla, e così ho scelto quest'ultima, nonostante non ami le perle in modo particolare.

Vi mostrerò quindi il mio primo Naj Oleari, grazie alla mia fantastica smaltamica Silvia e al nostro secondo swap.
E' uno smalto dal finish sabbioso, come tutti quelli della linea Crystalizer, color bianco latte con uno shimmer oro-verde che secondo me gli dà un tocco in più. Non pensavo che alla fine mi sarebbe piaciuto così tanto, quindi se vi capita sotto mano fateci un pensierino! Lo potete trovare ad esempio nelle profumerie Douglas.
Dopo aver steso due passate, ho applicato delle perle con il dotting tool. Cosa ne pensate del risultato?

June has got two birthstones, and we could choose whether to represent  pearl or alexandrite. 

I've seen a bottle in my stash that looked perfect for the pearl, and so I chose it, even though I don't like pearls so much!

So I will show you my first Naj Oleari, thanks to my amazing nail polish friend Silvia and our second swap.

It's a textured nail polish, like all those of the Crystalizer line. It has a milky white base with a gold-green shimmer that gives it a twist. I didn't think I'd liked it so much!

After two coats, I applied some pearls with a dotting tool. What do you think of the result?

Birthstone Challenge # 5 - Emerald: Color Club Metamorphosis

Buonasera a tutte!!
Oggi torna la Birthstone Challenge, con una splendida pietra verde, lo smeraldo!!
Ho scelto di vestire le mie unghie con uno dei Color Club che ho preso all'ultimo Cosmoprof, Metamorphosis, dalla Take Wing Collection del 2012, una collezione intera di foil!
Questo è un verde smeraldo dai sottotoni blu, che accende letteralmente le unghie quando lo avete indosso: quasi come avere delle pietre preziose sulle unghie :-D
E' un po' sheer: tre passate per una coprenza perfetta, anche se nelle foto ne vedrete solo due senza top coat.

Today the Birthstone Challenge is back, with a beautiful green stone, the emerald! 
I chose to wear a Color Club bought at the last Cosmoprof, Metamorphosis, from the Take Wing Summer Collection 2012, an entire collection of foil!
This is an emerald green with some blue undertones, which turns your nails into some precious stones :-D
It's a little bit sheer. Three coats for a perfect coverage, even if you'll see two coats without top coat in the pictures below.

Birthstone Challenge # 4 - Diamond: Shaka Hologram Silver + Born Pretty Store Nail Art Shiny Hexagonal Glitter Powder Sheets Tips Tool

Avete passato un bel week end di Pasqua? Io sì: dato che ieri era anche il mio compleanno abbiamo festeggiato insieme ad alcuni amici e non avrei potuto chiedere di più!
Oggi torna la Birthstone Challenge ideata dalla nostra Elena, e si parla della mia pietra che è il diamante! Molto impegnativa come birthstone, non credete? La pietra preziosa per eccellenza, la più dura, quella che simboleggia l'amore durevole, e che si trova sugli anelli di fidanzamento.
Per ricrearla sulle unghie ho pensato a uno smalto olografico. Ho scelto lo Shaka Holo Silver, perché è uno splendido holo linear dall'effetto davvero potentissimo, e si può ancora trovare negli OVS a € 1,99! Questo in particolare viene dal primo swap che ho fatto con Silvia di Smaltomania, ed è stato lo smalto che ha dato lo spunto a tutto quello che è venuto dopo! Grazie ancora Silvia per la tua gentilezza e disponibilità!
Dato che il diamante per me dev'essere qualcosa di eccessivo, ho voluto esagerare in sbrillio, e ho aggiunto dei "glequins" (che significa glitter + sequins, ossia paillettes) che mi ha gentilmente fornito la Born Pretty Store. Did you have a nice Easter weekend ? I did! Yesterday was my birthday and I celebrated it with my family and some friends: I couldn't ask more!
Today the Birthstone Challenge created by our Elena, is back, and it's the turn of my birthstone, the diamond! It's the most valuable stone, the hardest one, it symbolizes the enduring love, and you can find it on almost all the engaging rings.
The diamond made me think of a holographic polish. I chose Shaka Hologram Silver, because it has got a beautiful linear holo effect really powerful, and you can still find it in the OVS at € 1.99! This bottle come from my first swap with Silvia of Smaltomania , and it was the nail polish that started everything! Thanks Silvia for your kindness and helpfulness!

Birthstone Challenge # 3 - Aquamarine: Darling Diva Glacier

Ciao a tutte!!
Oggi ritorna il nostro appuntamento con le pietre preziose ideato da Elena, e sono felice di presentarvi la pietra di marzo, l'acquamarina!
Il suo colore va dal blu scuro al blu-verde in varie intensità, anche se la tonalità che vediamo più spesso è proprio quel celeste che ricorda l'acqua del mare: per questo i Romani l'hanno chiamata così, ed era considerata sacra a Nettuno, dio del mare.
Il suo colore mi ha anche ricordato lo smalto che ho indossato per queste foto, che vi mostro qua sotto. E' uno dei primi Darling Diva che ho comprato, l'anno scorso, e lo amo particolarmente.
E' un holo soft linear, dall'effetto discreto, intriso di glitter iridescenti che aggiungono un tocco di sbrillio in più. E' piuttosto sheer, io ho dato tre passate.

Today the Birthstone Challenge, created by the lovely Elena, is back, and I'm happy to introduce you to the March stone, the aquamarine! 
Its color ranges from dark blue to blue-green in different intensities, although the tone that we see most often is the color of the sea: that's why the Romans have called it aquamarine, and it was also considered sacred to Neptune, god of the sea. 
For me it's also the color of Darling Diva Glacier, one of my first Darling Diva, bought last year, and also one of my favourites.
It's a soft linear holo, full of iridescent glitters that add a touch of sparks to this nail polish. It's quite sheer, three coats in the pictures below.

Birthstone Challenge # 2 - Amethyst: Shaka Amethyst

Ciao a tutte!
Oggi torna la Birthstone Challenge dedicata alla pietra preziosa del mese e ideata dalla super creativa Ere Kanezawa! La pietra di febbraio è l'ametista: il suo colore è il viola e rappresenta la regalità e il potere.
Per questo mese ho scelto uno Shaka che si chiama proprio Amethyst: dovevo assolutamente provarlo in quest'occasione! :-D
E' un viola chiaro metallico, coprente in due passate. Dopo la stesura si vedono un po' i segni delle pennellate, anche se non in modo eccessivo. Nelle foto ho messo anche una passata di top coat.

Today the Birthstone Challenge, dedicated to the gemstone of the month and created by the lovely Ere Kanezawa is back! The stone of February is the amethyst: its color can range from a light violet to a dark purple and it represents royalty and the power.
I chose a Shaka called Amethyst: I absolutely had to try it on this occasion! :-D 
It's a light purple metallic, opaque in two coats. When you apply it, it leaves some brushstrokes, but not so visible. The pictures below are with top coat.
