Smalto da stamping:  Konad Black
Stamping plate:         MoYou London "Pro Collection" # 01
Top coat:                   Poshé

Giardino d'inverno # 10 - Vintage roses

Buongiorno a tutte!!!
Sembra incredibile che siamo arrivate all'ultimo appuntamento con il Giardino d'Inverno!! Ed è anche stato il primo inverno quasi senza neve e con pochissimo ghiaccio da quando abito nella Pianura Padana (e sono 10 anni quest'anno)!
Per festeggiare questa primavera in anticipo ho deciso di onorare il tema di oggi, che è quello floreale suggerito dalla nostra Silvia, con dei colori brillanti: fucsia, bianco e verde!
Ho anche pensato di utilizzare la mia tecnica preferita, che ormai saprete anche voi, è lo stamping! Ma, con una piccola aggiunta. Ho usato due colori per stampare, uno principalmente per i petali delle rose, e l'altro per le foglie, anche se poi si sono mischiati insieme, come doveva essere.
Il risultato mi ha ricordato delle rose un po' vintage, da cui il titolo.

It seems incredible that today is the last Winter Garden Day! It has been also the first winter with almost no snow and very little ice here in the Po Valley since I moved from Tuscany 10 years ago!
Today's theme has been suggested by the lovely Silvia, and it's Flowers. I decided to celebrate this early spring with bright colors: fuchsia, white and green.
I also used my favorite technique , which is the stamping! But, with a little addition. 
I used two stamping nail polishes, one primarily for the petals of the roses, and the other for the leaves, even if they are mixed together, as it should be.
The result reminded me some vintage roses, hence the title.

Giardino d'inverno # 7 - Hexagons like...beehive nails

Buongiorno a tutte e benvenute al Giardino d'inverno!
Oggi il tema l'ha proposto Silvia e sono i motivi geometrici. E' un tema molto bello secondo me perché è aperto a mille possibilità! ^__^
Pensa che ti ripensa ho avuto un'illuminazione quando ho visto una plate piena di esagoni che simula l'alveare. Era tanto che volevo provarla la manicure alveare, ed ecco qua cos'è venuto fuori!

Today's theme, "geometric patterns", has been suggested by Silvia. It's a very interesting theme for me, because it's open to endless possibilities! ^ __ ^ 

I knew I had the right idea when I saw a plate full of hexagons like a beehive. I wanted to try this manicure for a long time, and here's what came out!

Un paio di annotazioni. Le goccioline che vedete nelle prime due foto sono gocce di pioggia. Infatti negli ultimi giorni non ha mai smesso di piovere e le foto le ho scattate sotto l'acqua ^__^
Mi dispiace che il medio sia venuto un pasticcio: perdonatemi!
Per il resto le ho trovate molto divertenti! Spero siano piaciute anche a voi!

A couple of notes. The drops that you see in the first two pictures are raindrops. In fact, in the last days has never stopped raining! 
I'm sorry that the middle finger is a mess: please forgive me!

Giardino d'inverno #1 - White snowflakes over denim blue ft. Layla Ceramic Effect CE66

Siete pronte? Oggi con le mie amiche di avventura partiamo per un nuovo viaggio, una challenge ideata da Francine che ci porterà ogni venerdì nel nostro Giardino d'inverno.

Are you ready? Today with my nail mates we start a new journey, a challenge created by Francine that will take us every Friday to our Winter Garden.

Utilizzeremo solo smalti opachi con finish matte, suede, satin o textured, ma senza glitter. In più ogni settimana potremo scegliere di realizzare una nail art con un tema scelto da una di  noi.
Il tema di questa settimana l'ha scelto Silvia, ed è l'inverno.
Ho deciso di stampare dei fiocchi di neve bianchi su una base azzurra e poi ho steso un top coat matte (che penso userò molto spesso per questa challenge :-) ) per opacizzare il tutto.
Ecco cosa ho usato:

Base azzurra:             Layla Ceramic Effect CE66
Smalto per stamping: Konad white
Stamping plate:         Vivid Lacquer VL006
Top coat:                  Butter London Matte finish Shine Free Topcoat



We'll only use nail polishes with the following finish: matte, suede, satin or textured, but without glitter. In addition, each week we have a theme for an optional nail art, chosen by one of us.
Today's theme is the winter, and it has been chosen by Silvia. 
I decided to print some white snowflakes on a blue base and then I put a coat of a matte top coat (which I think I'll use very often for this challenge :-)).

N.NAIL Animal Pattern Zebra Leopard Giraffe Tiger Stamp Plate

Oggi ho provato il pattern in basso a destra che corrisponde alla tigre. Una tigre che si rispetti ha il manto arancione :-); per la mia tigre ho scelto un manto ancora più festoso, un bellissimo arancio glitter super coprente della Shaka dalla Glitter Collection dell'anno scorso, Joy.
Lo smalto usato per lo stamping è il nero che uso sempre, il Konad black. Una passata di top coat et voilà!



Today I tried the pattern on the bottom right, the tiger. 
A tiger usually wears an orange coat.  For my tiger I chose a festive coat, a beautiful super opaque orange glitter from the last year's Shaka Glitter Collection, Joy.
I also used my favourite stamping black, Konad black. A coat of top coat and voilà!

Some winter stamping

Come state? Spero che abbiate passato uno splendido Natale con tutte le persone cui volete bene e vi siate rilassate a tavola! Io sono stata un po' di giorni in Trentino in pieno relax ^__^
Ho un po' di foto da mostrarvi, scattate prima di partire, in tema natalizio.
La prima è uno stamping fatto sulla base I'm backstage, il verde acqua shimmeroso della Beauty Beats LE di Essence. Lo trovo un colore molto carino! Il bianco sopra non fa abbastanza contrasto, e il risultato è fin troppo soft, ma alla fine non mi dispiace! Gli alberini invernali li ho presi dalla stamping plate Jumbo plate 6 Happy Holidays della Cheeky.

How are you? I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with all the people you love and you had some relax at the table! I have been some days in Trentino Alto Adige relaxing myself ^ __ ^

I have a couple of pics to show you, taken before leaving, in Christmas theme.

The first is a stamping done over I'm backstage, the shimmer aqua green from the Essence LE Beauty Beats. I think it's a very nice color! There's not enough contrast between the aqua green and the Konad white. The result is maybe too soft, but I like it anyway! The winter trees come from the Jumbo plate 6 Happy Holidays from Cheeky.

Per la prossima stampa avevo pensato di usare l'oro Suspect della LE Thrilling me softly di Catrice. Devo dire che da solo non mi è piaciuto per niente. Un colore troppo smorto che non sta per niente bene con la mia carnagione. Ho provato ad abbellirlo con il mio amato Dragon di A-England. Al sole, dove si vedono gli sbrilli holo non è male neanche questa! ^^


For the next stamping I wanted to try the gold Suspect from the Catrice LE Thrilling me softly. I don't like it on its own. I think it's too dull and it doesn't match my skin color. I tried to improve it with my beloved A-England Dragon. In the sunlight, where you can see the holo sparkles, it's not bad at all ^^

Battle of Planets # 4 - Moon: A-England Excalibur (old version) + stamping

Buongiorno!!
La giornata di oggi è dedicata alla Luna, il pianeta della notte e del mistero! Il suo colore è l'argento. Nel mio stash devo avere se non uno solo, forse un paio di argenti: al contrario dell'oro è un colore che da solo non mi piace molto, e che uso soprattutto per nail art. Per questo scopo ne basta uno, no? E secondo me Excalibur va davvero alla grande come argento!! E' tutto quello che sognate in uno smalto metallico (si parla di Adina, non dimentichiamocene! :-) ): formula perfetta, one coater, una lucentezza fenomenale e risplende anche quando non c'è il sole: guardate le foto, tutte come al solito sotto un cielo coperto! I segni delle pennellate non si notano neanche tanto...Nelle foto ho dato comunque due passate di sicurezza.

Today we celebrate the moon, the planet of night and mystery! Its color is silver. In my stash I have maybe a couple of silvers. I don't like it very much on its own, and I use it mostly for nail art. For this purpose, you only need one, right? And I think Excalibur is a really great silver! It's all you want in a metallic: perfect formula, one coater, amazing brightness. It shines even when there's no sun: look at the pictures, they were all taken under an overcast sky! Brushstrokes are not so noticeable ... In these pictures, however, I put two coats.

Come vi ho detto, da solo non mi fa impazzire, così ho deciso di fare uno stamping nero-argento. Come base ho usato Camelot, sempre A-England, e sulla accent, dove ho lasciato l'argento come base, ho usato il Konad black con la Cheeky plate CH46 (di ispirazione vagamente spaziale :-) )



As I told you, I'm not fun of a whole silver mani, so I decided to try a black-silver stamping.  The black base is A-England Camelot and for the accent I used the Konad black with the Cheeky plate CH46 (this pattern reminds me something space-related :-))

Twinsie Post - Safari : Zebra!

Ciao a tutte!!
Oggi andiamo in Africa!! La mia smaltamica Francesca ha avuta questa splendida idea di una giornata di nail art a tema safari: ognuna di noi pubblicherà una nail art ispirata al mantello o alla pelle (se si tratta di un rettile) di un animale della savana.
Sapete che ultimamente ho scoperto la passione dello stamping? Ebbene, fra i miei plates ne ho uno con il disegno delle strisce della zebra: potevo non approfittarne?
Per la base ho usato un'altra delle mie passioni: glitter a base bianca! Ne ho diversi, e ho scelto questo perché i glitter s'intravedono appena in mezzo alle strisce nere e non disturbano l'insieme della stampa. Si tratta di un Pretty & Polished, The Young Hero, della Mathematical Collection ispirata al cartone The Adventure Time. Io adoro questo cartone: l'ho guardato spesso su Boing con mio figlio, e ho preso ben 5 minibottigliette di questa collezione!
Come plate ho usato il Konad m57 e per stampare ho usato il Konad black.

Today we go to Africa! My nail polish friend Francesca had this wonderful idea of a safari-themed nail art: each of us will post a nail art inspired by the coat or skin (if it is a reptile) of an animal of the savannah.

Do you know that I've recently discovered a passion for the stamping? Well, one of my plates has the design of the stripes of the zebra: so I had to use it!

For the base I used another one of my passions: a white-based glitter! I chose this one because here the little glitters just glimpsed amid the black stripes, and do not clash with the zebra design. It's a Pretty & Polished, The Young Hero from the Mathematical Collection inspired by the cartoon The Adventure Time. I love this cartoon: I have often watched it on an Italian channel with my son, and I took 5 mini-bottles from this collection!

I used the Konad m57 plate and the Konad black nail polish (special for stamping).

Kiko 427 Amable Chartreuse + stamping

Ciao a tutte!!
Stasera vi mostrerò uno dei due smalti della LE Fierce Spirit che mi sono portata a casa (il secondo è l'altro verde ^__^ Sono nel mio periodo verde!!), il Sun Pearl 427,  famoso per il suo color Shrek ^__^!!
E' un verde chartreuse molto brillante e molto estivo con uno shimmer dorato molto evidente, quindi se vi piacciono i colori un po' più originali questo fa per voi!
E' molto pigmentato, perfettamente opaco in due passate, ma ho trovato la sua formula un po' troppo densa e difficile da stendere.

Tonight I'll show you one of the polishes from the LE Fierce Spirit that I took at home (the second one is the other green ^ __ ^ I'm in my green period!), the Sun Pearl 427, famous for its Shrek color ^__^!
It's a very bright chartreuse green, very summery with a golden shimmer very strong. 
So if you prefer original colors, this is for you!
It's very pigmented, perfectly opaque in two coats, but I found his formula a bit too thick and difficult to apply.
