Discontinued Day #18 - KB Shimmer Berry Christmas

Ciao ragazze e benvenute al Discontinued Day!!
E dato che oggi è il primo dicembre, vi mostrerò il primo smalto natalizio della stagione :-)

Questo gioiellino indie viene dalla collezione natalizia di KB Shimmer del 2012. Non pensavo fossero passati già due anni da quando l'ho acquistato!! Comunque direi che è ancora perfetto, e lo trovo bellissimo!
Ha una base rossa jelly in cui sono immersi glitter rossi, fucsia e viola. E' opaco in due passate senza bisogno di mutande, e necessita di almeno una passata di top coat per renderlo più lucido. Ce ne vorrebbero due, ma io come al solito non avevo tempo!

Today is the first day of December, so I'll show you the first Christmas manicure of this season!

This indie gem comes from the KB Shimmer Winter 2012 Collection. I didn't realize that I bought it two years ago!! However I must say that it's still perfect, and I find it beautiful!
It has a red jelly base full of red, fuchsia and purple glitters. It's opaque in two coats without undies, and it needs at least one coat of top coat to make it shiny. Maybe it would be better one more coat, but I didn't have time!

Holothon 2.0 - # 9 :Liquid Sky Lacquer Tripindicular

Buongiorno a tutte e buon Ferragosto!!
Sono in ferie da ieri pomeriggio, e prima di partire per il mare mi godo un po' di giorni di relax a casa! Niente di meglio di un po' di bellezze holo da guardare!

Oggi vi mostrerò il mio primo (e purtroppo unico per il momento) Liquid Sky Lacquer, un indie brand Californiano che adoro e che vi consiglio di seguire! Questa mini- boccetta mi è stata gentilmente offerta da Atoutscharme in occasione dell'ultimo acquisto (ormai risale a parecchio tempo fa, ma i miei tempi di swatch si sono allungati molto ultimamente, sob!).
E' un holo linear fuchsia, super coprente, e dalla formula ottima, senza bisogno di basi particolari. Qua nelle foto vedete due passate senza top coat.

I'm on holidays since yesterday afternoon, and I need a couple of day to relax at home before leaving to the sea side! So, let's see some holo beauties! 

Today I'll show you my first (and unfortunately only for the moment) Liquid Sky Lacquer, an indie Californian brand that I love: I suggest you to follow it, because it's very interesting! This mini bottle was kindly provided by Atoutscharme at the last purchase (quite a long time ago, but lately, due to my full time job,  I need a lot of time to swatch a nail polish, sob!). 
It's a fuchsia linear holo, super opaque, with an excellent formula, no aqua base needed. In the pictures you'll see two coats without top coat.

Giardino d'inverno # 10 - Vintage roses

Buongiorno a tutte!!!
Sembra incredibile che siamo arrivate all'ultimo appuntamento con il Giardino d'Inverno!! Ed è anche stato il primo inverno quasi senza neve e con pochissimo ghiaccio da quando abito nella Pianura Padana (e sono 10 anni quest'anno)!
Per festeggiare questa primavera in anticipo ho deciso di onorare il tema di oggi, che è quello floreale suggerito dalla nostra Silvia, con dei colori brillanti: fucsia, bianco e verde!
Ho anche pensato di utilizzare la mia tecnica preferita, che ormai saprete anche voi, è lo stamping! Ma, con una piccola aggiunta. Ho usato due colori per stampare, uno principalmente per i petali delle rose, e l'altro per le foglie, anche se poi si sono mischiati insieme, come doveva essere.
Il risultato mi ha ricordato delle rose un po' vintage, da cui il titolo.

Ecco cos'ho utilizzato:

Smalto da stamping:  Konad White + Pupa Chrome  #017
Stamping plate:         MoYou "Pro Collection" # 10

It seems incredible that today is the last Winter Garden Day! It has been also the first winter with almost no snow and very little ice here in the Po Valley since I moved from Tuscany 10 years ago!
Today's theme has been suggested by the lovely Silvia, and it's Flowers. I decided to celebrate this early spring with bright colors: fuchsia, white and green.
I also used my favorite technique , which is the stamping! But, with a little addition. 
I used two stamping nail polishes, one primarily for the petals of the roses, and the other for the leaves, even if they are mixed together, as it should be.
The result reminded me some vintage roses, hence the title.

Here's what I used:

Stamping nail polishes : Konad White + Pupa Chrome # 017
Stamping plate :            MoYou " Pro Collection" # 10

Top coat :                      Butter London Matte Finish Shine Free Topcoat

Twinsie Friday - Holothon: Hits Speciallità No Olimpo Atena

Ciao a tutte!!
Mi piange il cuore, ma oggi è l'ultimo appuntamento con la Holothon. Devo dire che fra tutte le collaborazioni fatte finora questa è quella che ha fatto più stragi nelle wish list, è vero o no? :-)
Ma non preoccupatevi, ci sono sempre nuovi progetti in vista!
Per oggi ho scelto l'ultimo smalto che avevo ancora da swatchare dalla mia collezione No Olimpo della Hits, Atena, un bellissimo fuchsia holo linear!!
Come i suoi fratelli ha una formula fantastica, si stende perfettamente senza bisogno di basi speciali, e volendo si può aggiungere un top coat (come ho fatto io nelle foto) senza diminuire l'effetto holo. Due passate per una coprenza ottimale, ma è comunque molto pigmentato.
Guardate che bello quando diventa azzurro-violaceo grazie all'effetto holo!

I'm too sad, because today is the last Holothon day. I must say that these twin posts were those that made more damages in our wishlists, is it true or not? :-)
But don't worry, there are always new projects in sight!
For today I chose the last nail polish that I had yet to swatch from my Hits No Olimpo Collection, Atena, a beautiful fuchsia linear holo!
Like his brothers it has a fantastic formula, it applies perfectly without a special bases. If you want you can add a top coat (as I did in the pics below) without diminishing the holo properties. Two coats for an optimal coverage, but it's very pigmented.
For me it's beautiful when it becomes blue-violet due to the holo effect!

Today is May Polish Days! You know that every month there's an inspiration theme: today it's the number 5!

Ho rischiato di non partecipare: questo tema non riusciva a far scattare nessun clic alla mia ispirazione, finché non ho pensato: perché non fare una manicure ispirata al Cinco de Mayo, dato che ci siamo anche vicini come data? Posso fare delle unghie messicane ^___^
E da lì è scattata l'ispirazione!! Ho trovato un'immagine e l'ho tradotta in termini di nail art:


I thought I wouldn't make it this month. The number 5 didn't tell anything to my creativity, until I thought: what if I did a manicure inspired by the Cinco de Mayo? I could do Mexican nails ^ ___ ^!

Floral manicure for spring!

Ciao ragazze!
Stasera vi mostrerò la manicure che posterò per il Crumpet Amateur Nail Art Contest - April aperto a tutti i blog con meno di 100 followers con un tema fisso che questo mese è quello dei fiori! Le votazioni partono dal 18 aprile direttamente sul sito.
Non ho assolutamente chissà quali aspirazioni, ma queste occasioni mi muovono a fare qualcosina in più, altrimenti la mia pigrizia avrebbe il sopravvento ^___^
Per la base ho spugnato un bel po' di pastelli su base bianca: giallo, rosa, verde menta, celeste e lilla.
Sopra ho applicato i fiorellini con un dotting tool e messo qualche perlina argentata per le corolle.

Tonight I'll show you the manicure that I will post for the Amateur Crumpet Nail Art Contest - April. It's open to all blogs with less than 100 followers with a fixed theme. The april theme is flowers! Voting start from April 18th on Crumpet web site.
These occasions are important for me because they push me to do something more than usual, otherwise my laziness would prevail ^ ___ ^
For the base I sponged a lot of pastels on a white base: yellow, pink, mint green, sky blue and lilac.
I applied some little flowers with a dotting tool and put some silver beads for the petals.
Polishes used:
