Twinsie Friday - duochromes: Enchanted Polish Bonjour Paris

Ciao a tutte!!
Oggi è l'ultimo appuntamento per i nostri duochromes del venerdì! Non preoccupatevi, c'è sempre qualcosa che bolle in pentola per il futuro, e lo scoprirete presto!
L'ultimo multichrome che ho scelto per voi è il fratello di Ola Rio , Bonjour Paris. Se vi è piaciuto Ola Rio, direi che lui potrebbe sorprendervi ancora di più! E' stato forse più ostico da fotografare, anche perché ho scelto una base un po' diversa dal solito nero, ma alla fine spero di avere trovato la luce giusta ^___^
Ho usato lo Shaka Pandora, un blurple shimmeroso e bellissimo che si merita un post a parte in futuro. I glitter di Bonjour Paris virano dal blu/viola all'arancio/oro/fuchsia.

The last multichrome that I have chosen for you is the brother of Ola Rio, Bonjour Paris. 

If you liked Ola Rio, maybe Bonjour Paris might surprise you even more! It has been hard to take some good pictures, because I've chosen a base a little bit different from the usual black. 

I used Pandora by Shaka, a shimmery blurple so beautiful that it deserves a separate post in the future. Bonjour Paris's glitters shift from blue/purple to orange/gold/fuchsia.

TwinsieFriday - duochromes: Glitter Gal Last Light Brilliant

Ciao a tutte!!
Il brand australiano Glitter Gal è famoso per i suoi smalti olografici, ma ha fatto anche dei duochromes!! L'anno scorso ha lanciato due linee di shade shifters; ne ho presi due dalla Brilliant Shade Shifters perché ero rimasta folgorata dagli swatch di Scrangie .
Oggi vi mostro quello che secondo me è un po' più particolare, il Last Light Brilliant. Ha una base rossastra con finish glassflecks su cui spicca uno shimmer fortissimo, che va dal verde acquamarina-celeste al rosa. E' molto sheer, quindi l'ho provato su due basi. La prima è un nude, per mostrarvi com'è quasi al naturale: due passate su Illamasqua Monogamous nelle foto che seguono.

The Australian brand Glitter Gal is well known for its holographic polishes, but it has also made some duochromes! The last year it launched two lines of shade shifters. I've bought two from the Brilliant Shade Shifters Collection because I fell in love with Scrangie's swatches!

Today I'll show you Last Light Brilliant. It has a reddish base with a glassflecks finish on which stands out a strong shimmer, ranging from aqua green-blue to pink. It's very sheer on its own, so I tried it on two bases. The first is a nude: two coats of Illamasqua Monogamous in the following pics.

Poi l'ho steso su base nera (A-England Camelot), e qui diventa praticamente un altro smalto! La base rossastra scompare e rimane solo il suo riflesso duochrome!

Then I put it on a black base (A-England Camelot), and it becomes another polish! The reddish base disappears and we can see only the duochrome shimmer!

Twinsie Friday - duochromes: Darling Diva Persephone

Buongiorno a tutte!!
Finalmente venerdì! Per chiudere la settimana smaltistica in attesa del week end oggi vi propongo un duochrome rosso vino/azzurro!!
E' un indie, il brand si chiama Darling Diva, e l'ho comprato su questo sito.
Ne ho uno della stessa famiglia, si tratta del W7 Venus, ma guardando le boccette non mi sembra dupe.
L'ho steso su base nera per far risaltare lo stacco dei colori, e vedrete che è molto evidente!! Asciuga matte, ma io l'ho preferito lucido con una mano di top coat sopra.


Qua il rosso diventa violaceo e si vede bene il passaggio.

Finally it's Friday! Today I'll show you a wine red/blue duochrome!
It's an indie, its brand is called Darling Diva, and I bought it on this website.
I've got one of the same color family, it's the W7 Venus, but looking at the bottles they seem different.
I put it on a black base and you will see the color shift very well! It dries matte, but I preferred it with a coat of top coat.


Here the red turn purple and you can clearly see the color shift.

Al sole pieno rosso e azzurro si mescolano e si trasformano in una specie di grigio.


Here red and blue are mixing and turning into a kind of grey.

Twinsie Friday - duochromes: China Glaze Unpredictable

Buongiorno a tutte!!
Per l'appuntamento duochrome di oggi avevo voglia di qualcosa di verde, così ho preso Unpredictable della collezione New Bohemian Luster Chrome Autunno 2012.
Beh, mi sono totalmente innamorata di questo smalto: è uno dei miei preferiti in assoluto e mi è dispiaciuto toglierlo!! I colori vanno dal verde-oro all'azzurro-teal e il passaggio è piuttosto netto. In ombra si vede bene il verde-oro nella parte centrale dell'unghia e l'azzurro-teal sui lati. E' coprente in due passati (non ho usato basi colorate sotto), e l'unico difetto che gli si può riscontrare sono i segni delle pennellate, ma il colore è così bello che alla fine quei segni passano in secondo piano!

Good morning girls!
Today I wanted to wear something green, so I took Unpredictable from the New Bohemian Luster Chrome Collection (Fall 2012).
Well, I am totally in love with this nail polish: it's one of my  favorites and I didn't want to take it off! The colors shift from green-gold to blue-teal with a rather strong change. In the shade you can clearly see the green-gold in the central part of the nail and the blue-teal on the sides. It's opaque in two coats (I didn't use any coloured base), and the only defect I can found in it are the brushstrokes, but the color is so beautiful that I forget them!

Twinsie Friday - duochromes: Enchanted Polish Ola Rio

Buongiorno a tutte!
Finalmente è venerdì! Come sapete, è giorno di duochromes, e mi mancava una tipologia all'appello: i glitter!! Sono rimasta totalmente affascinata dalla collezione di Enchanted Polish, una marca indie, Big City Lights, 4 multichrome glitter dedicati ognuno a una città diversa. Oggi vi mostro Ola Rio, il "brasiliano" del gruppo ^__^
I glitter sono sospesi in una base trasparente, e cosa meglio del nero per farli risaltare? I colori vanno dal rosa fuchsia al rame, l'arancione, l'oro, il verde: a ogni angolo di luce vedrete sfumature diverse!!
Ho messo un solo strato di Ola Rio su base nera, e una mano di Seche Vite per lucidare. Che ve ne pare?

Finally it's Friday! As you know, it's duochromes day, and today I'll show you a glitter one!! I was totally in love with the Big City Lights collection by Enchanted Polish, an indie brand: 4 multichrome glitter dedicated to 4 different cities. Today I'll show you Ola Rio, the"Brazilian" of the group ^ __ ^

The glitter are suspended in a clear base, and what better than a black base to make them stand out? The colors shift from pink to copper, orange, gold, green and more!

I put a single coat of Ola Rio on a black base, and a coat of Seche Vite. What do you think about it?

Twinsie Friday - duochromes: Peggy Sage 223 Féérique Mauve

Ciao a tutte!!
Oggi vi mostrerò uno dei miei acquisti fatti al Cosmoprof quest'anno! E' un duochrome molto tranquillo, adatto anche per l'ufficio, ma con delle tonalità che secondo me sono molto belle!
Si passa da un viola a base calda (dato che nella base ci sono già le particelle dorate che poi diventano dominanti sotto certe angolazioni) a un bronzo dorato molto caldo e luminoso.
La formula secondo me è un po' troppo liquida e tende a fare bollicine, ma ha una buona coprenza con due passate. Stavolta niente base scura o colorata sotto: lo vedrete nature! ^___^

Today I'll show you one of my Cosmoprof purchases! It's a very soft duochrome, work-appropriate, but with a beautiful color!

It shifts from a warm-based purple to a golden bronze.

The formula in my opinion is a bit too thin and leaves many bubbles, but it has a good coverage with two coats. This time, I didn't wear any dark or black base: you'll see it nude! ^ ___ ^

Twinsie Friday - duochromes: Cult Nails Seduction

Ciao a tutte!!
In questa carrellata di duochromes del venerdì non potevano mancare i flakies! Quelli di oggi appartengono a un Cult Nails che si chiama Seduction e che ne contiene letteralmente di tutti i colori... Ecco come viene descritto sul sito: “sheer purple/red jelly top coat polish loaded with red and blue multichromatic flakes.” E' un top coat con una base jelly trasparente colorata di viola e carico di flakies multichromatici rossi e blu (ma anche, dico io, arancio, verdi, fuchsia...). 
Adesso ve lo mostrerò su base nera, che è il miglior modo per vedere al meglio i flakies.

Today we'll have flakies! They belong to a Cult Nails which is called Seduction and which contains literally all the colors ... That's how it's described on the website: "sheer purple / red jelly polish top coat loaded with red and blue multichromatic flakes." But also, I say, orange, green, fuchsia ...
Now I'll show you it over a black base, which is the best way to see the most of the flakies.

E l'ultima chicca: volete vedere l'effetto della base colorata su un fuchsia? Sull'anulare ho lasciato il fuchsia da solo (Essie - Tour de finance), mentre sulle altre dita ho messo su anche uno strato di Seduction...

And the last treat: do you want to see the effect of the colored base over a fuchsia? On the ring finger I left the fuchsia on its own (Essie - Tour de finance), while on the other fingers I put a coat of Seduction ...

Twinsie Friday - duochromes: Barry M Silvery Lilac + comparison

Ciao a tutte!!
E' venerdì!! La festa del 25 aprile mi ha un po' scombinato e me ne stavo dimenticando @___@! Fortuna che mi è venuto in mente in tempo, ed eccomi qua!
Oggi vi mostro un Barry M. Pensavo fosse duochrome, ma lo chiamerei più un multichrome, dato che ci ho visto almeno tre colori distintamente: viola, verde e grigio argento. La sua particolarità però è che sulla sua superficie c'è uno strato di finissimo shimmer argentato. L'ho steso su base nera per far risaltare l'effetto multichrome, ma in effetti potrebbe essere carino vederlo su base lilla o viola!
Da solo è piuttosto trasparente, e ci vogliono almeno tre passate per ottenere una discreta opacità.

It's Friday!! This 25th April Bank Holiday messed me up a bit, and I was forgetting about it @ ___ @! Luckily it came to my mind in time, and here I am!

Today I'll show you a Barry M. I thought it was a duochrome, but I think it's a multichrome, because I've seen at least three distinct colors: purple, green and silver grey. Its uniqueness, however, is that on its surface there is a layer of fine silver shimmer. I put it on a black base, but maybe it might be nice to see it over a lilac or a purple!

It's quite sheer on its own, and it takes at least three coats to get a good coverage.

All'ombra si notano di più le particelle shimmer.

In the shadow you can see better its shimmer particles.

Questo smalto mi ricordava l'Essence Where is the party? per il colore, e così ho deciso di fare una comparazione (sempre layering su base nera).

This polish reminded me the Essence Where is the party? for its color, and so I decided to try a little comparison (layered over a black base).

WITP ha lo stesso effetto multichrome del SL, ma senza particelle shimmer! Non sono dupes quindi...
