Holothon 2.0 - # 7 :Literary Lacquers If It Pleases You

Ciao fanciulle!
Per questo venerdì ho scelto un Literary Lacquers. L'anno scorso vi ho mostrato More Fire Than Light. Lui è un suo fratello proveniente dalla stessa collezione (e comprato insieme: come vedete ci ho messo solo un anno per swatcharlo :-D), stavolta ispirato al libro di Anne Rice "The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty". Io però l'ho preso per il colore. E' un olografico linear strabiliante: uno degli arcobaleni più belli visti sulle mie unghie, sul serio! Guardate le foto! Ed è un viola-marrone! Avete qualcosa di simile nel vostro stash? Io no di certo!
Ho dato tre passate nelle foto, senza top coat.

For this Friday I chose a Literary Lacquers. Last year I showed you More Fire Than Light. He's one of his brothers from the same collection (bought together, and as you can see it took me only one year to swatch it :-D), this time inspired by the book of Anne Rice's "The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty".
 I bought it for its color. It's an amazing holographic linear. One of the most beautiful rainbows seen on my nails, seriously! Look at these pictures! And it's a purple-brown! Do you have something similar in your stash? I certainly do not!

Holothon 2.0 - # 6 :Peggy Sage Holo Style #061 Rosa Bella

Buonasera a tutte!!
Poco tempo fa si è concluso il primo swap con GoldFrancine, e sappiate che abbiamo fatto tanti danni al nostro portafoglio, ma ci siamo scambiate tanta felicità!!
Quella che vi mostro stasera è una chicca che ha scelto Francine: grazie!!! Ho gradito davvero moltissimo!
Il mio primo Peggy Sage Holo, un rosa scuro scattered di nome Rosa Bella :-)
La cosa che mi ha colpito di più è stata la qualità: davvero ottima! Si stende che è un piacere, ed è quasi one coater! Io ho steso due passate, ma per le unghie corte va bene anche una. Niente top coat e una durata molto buona.
Nelle foto vedete un massiccio tip wear, dato che stupidamente l'ho messo senza guardare le previsioni per il giorno dopo, e ho dovuto aspettare il sole per fotografarlo (almeno due giorni)! Mi sei venuta in mente tu Cristina, con le regole della perfetta nail blogger :-)

Some days ago ended my first swap with GoldFrancine. You have to know that our wallet cryed a lot, but we gave each other a lot of happiness!!
I'll show you tonight a gem chosen by Francine: thank you, darling! I really liked it! 
It's my first Peggy Sage Holo, a dark pink holo scattered named Rosa Bella :-) 
I enjoyed so much its perfect formula! It applies like butter without aqua base, and it's almost a one coater! I put two coats, beacuse of my long nails. No top coat and a very good longevity. 
In the pictures below you can see a big tip wear, since I decided to paint my nails without looking at the forecast, and I had to wait for the sun to take some pictures (2 days)! I thought of you, Cristina, and your 10 steps to be a perfect blogger :-D

 Bonus: vedete quella macchia grigia nella foto? Il mio gatto si stava rotolando al sole mentre scattavo le foto ed è entrato nello sfondo :-D

Birthstone Challenge # 7 - Ruby: Pahlish Blood Red Jam

Buonasera a tutte!!
Devo innanzitutto scusarmi con tutte voi: ieri ho dovuto saltare l'appuntamento con la Birthstone Challenge dato che per due giorni il collegamento internet mi ha lasciato a piedi, sigh!
Avevo però già tutte le foto pronte, e vorrei mostrarvi lo stesso lo smalto che sta a simboleggiare il rubino, la pietra del mese di luglio.
Ho scelto il mio primo Pahlish, preso da Edgy Polish l'anno scorso in periodo di saldi: è un rosso dalla base jelly e il finish foil (strano mix, eh?) pieno di glitterini molto fini iridescenti e viola/arancio. Il nome dello smalto viene da un pezzo di Lana del Rey:

"My old man is a tough man, but he's got a soul as sweet as blood red jam" -Lana Del Rey


La formula è un po' densa, ma lavorabile, ed è opaco in due passate (+ top coat nelle foto).

I must first apologize to all of you.  Yesterday I had to skip the Birthstone Challenge because I had been without internet for two days, sigh!
My pics were ready, and I would like to show you which nail polish I choose to symbolize the July Birthstone, the ruby.
It's my first Pahlish, bought from Edgy Polish last year during the sales.
It has a red jelly base and a foil finish (weird mix, huh?). It's also full of tiny iridescent and purple/orange microglitters. Its name comes from a Lana del Rey song: 

"My old man is a tough man, but he's got a soul as sweet as blood red jam"-Lana Del Rey 

Its formula is a bit thick, but workable, and it's opaque in two coats (+ top coat in the pics below).

Holothon 2.0 - # 5 : Born Pretty Holo Polish #8 Blue

Buongiorno a tutte!!
E' tempo di holo, e oggi vorrei mostrarvi una delle bellezze che ha fatto uscire la Born Pretty Store l'estate scorsa. Durante i saldi ho preso un po' di colori, fra cui il numero 8.
E' un azzurro holo linear dall'effetto molto strong, una formula molto buona, senza problemi di applicazione. L'unica pecca è che è un po' sheer (e la bottiglietta è piccola, solo 6 ml), e quelle che vedete nelle foto sono tre passate.

It's holo time, and today I want to show you one of the beauties from the last year Born Pretty Store Summer Collection. 

During the sales I bought some bottles, including number 8. 

It's an aqua blue linear holo with a very strong effect, and a very good formula, without application problems. The only bad thing is that it's a bit sheer (and it's a small bottle: only 6 ml). You'll see three coats in the pics below.

Holothon 2.0 - # 4 : Darling Diva Gett Off

Buonasera  a tutte!!
Eccomi sul filo di lana a postare per la Holothon! Ma fra aperitivi, giri e passeggiate mi sono un po' persa via stasera! ^____^

Dopo Glacier vi mostro un altro holo pieno di glitterini di Darling Diva, stavolta dalla Prince Collection! Non sono una fan di Prince, e l'ho preso per il colore: alla fine sono stata soddisfatta perché lo trovo bellissimo!
Si stende senza una base particolare, opaco in due passate, senza top coat.

After Glacier I'll show you another holo full of glitter from Darling Diva. This time it comes from the Prince Collection!
I'm not particularly fan of Prince, and I bought it because I love this colour.
It doesn't need an aqua base, opaque in two coats, no top coat.

Discontinued Day #13 - Kiko Sun Pearl LE in # 428 River Green and #429 Blue Spot

Buonasera ragazze!!
Per il Discontinued Day di questo mese torno a mostrarvi dei Kiko della scorsa estate, e precisamente i due colori che mi mancava di swatchare della Sun Pearl LE. Il terzo che ho comprato è il  # 427 Amable Chartreuse.
River Green dalla boccetta era il mio preferito della collezione. Uno splendido verde foresta dal sottotono leggermente blu in una mare di glassflecks dorati, coprente in due passate.

For the July's Discontinued Day I'll show you two more Kiko from the discontinued last summer LE Sun Pearl. I bought a third one from this LE: #427 Amable Chartreuse. 
Green River was my favourite from the bottle. A beautiful pine green with a slightly blue undertone full of ​​golden glassflecks, covering in two coats.

Quando però ho indossato Blue Spot mi sono ricreduta: l'ho trovato molto più bello sulle unghie che in boccetta, ed è salito al pari merito con River Green come preferito della Sun Pearl.
E' quasi un one coater: se avete le unghie corte vi basterà una passata, se le avete lunghe con una seconda passata sottile siete a posto.
Uno splendido blu intriso di glass flecks argentee, ma più discrete di quelle dorate di River Green.



But when I wore Blue Spot I changed my mind.  I prefer it on my nails than in the bottle, and it's now a favourite for me!
It 's almost a one coater.  If you have short nails you need just one coat; I have longer nails and needed two thin coats.
It's a beautiful medium blue full of silver glassflecks, softer than River Green.

Peccato non avere preso il rosso: era una collezione da prendere completa! :-)

Holothon 2.0 - # 3 A-England Rose Bower

Buonasera a tutte!!
Oggi abbiamo avuto una giornata autunnale qua a Piacenza: tempo cupo, freddo e pioggia per tutto il giorno. Non solo: era la Festa del Patrono, Sant'Antonino, ma la ditta per la quale lavoro era aperta, e non ho potuto fare il ponte. Per tirarmi su di morale non c'è niente di meglio di un bell'holo sulle unghie (ci si accontenta di poco qua :-) )! E così ecco a voi il secondo A-England dalla Burne-Jones Dream Collection: Rose Bower!

Ecco come lo descrive Adina sul suo sito: "Asleep in a bed of roses, her beauty still calls true" - a true deep rose hue kissed with subtle holographic overtones, a scarlet riot of blooming life to keep the princess company.
E' uno splendido holo scattered rosso ciliegia, super pigmentato, un one coater, dalla sempre ottima qualità che contraddistingue tutti gli A-England.

Today we had an autumn day here in Piacenza: gloomy weather, cold and rainy all day. But that's not all. Today it was a Holiday here, the feast of the patron saint of Piacenza, Saint Anthony, but nevertheless I had to go to work. To cheer me up, there's nothing better than a gorgeous holo on my nails  (it's easy to make me happy :-) )! And so let me introduce you the second A-England from the Burne-Jones Dream Collection: Rose Bower! 

"Asleep in a bed of roses, still calls her true beauty" - a true deep rose hue holographic kissed with subtle overtones, a riot of blooming scarlet life to keep the princess company. 


It's a beautiful cherry red scattered holo, super pigmented, a one coater, with the always excellent quality that characterizes all the A-England.
