Twinsie Friday - Holothon: Color Club Cloud Nine

Ciao ragazze!!!
Venerdì scorso vi avevo preannunciato che qualcosa stava bollendo in pentola, ed ecco che oggi parte una nuova maratona di smalti. Come dice il nome nel titolo, saranno tutti holo! Non potrei essere più felice, un po' perché potrò continuare a collaborare con le mie smaltamiche, un po' perché adoro follemente gli holo!! E non c'è stagione migliore per portarli dell'estate, dato che al sole danno davvero il meglio! Ma potrete vederlo voi stesse.
Partirò col botto, dato che lo smalto di oggi penso sia uno dei miei preferiti in assoluto! Cloud Nine è un holo linear della collezione Halo Hues. Come colore lo vedo come una via di mezzo fra il rosa chiaro e il lilla, ma quello che è stupefacente è l'effetto holo sotto il sole, davvero potente!
E la formula è perfetta: si stende liscio come l'olio, opaco in due passate, ma potrebbe bastarne una, ce l'ho da tre giorni e non si è minimamente scheggiato, e le foto sono senza top coat. Che volere di più da un holo? Penso niente!!

Last Friday I told you that something was in the air, and here it is: today is starting a new polish marathon. As the name in the title, it'll be a holothon! I couldn't be happier, because I'll be able to work again with my nail polish friends and because I love holos with all my heart :-) ! Summer is the best season for them, but you can see it yourself.

I'll start with a polish which is one of my favourites. Cloud Nine is a linear holo from the Halo Hues collection. Its color is a shade between light pink and lilac, but what's amazing is the holo effect under the sunlight, really powerful!

And the formula is perfect: it applies smoothly, opaque in two coats, but maybe almost one. I had it for three days and it hasn't chipped at all, and all the pictures are without top coat. Perfection in a bottle!!

Look at how much it changes from the shade to the sunlight ....

Discontinued Day #2 - L'Oréal Resist & Shine 734 e 735

Buongiorno a tutte!!
Come state? Questa settimana sono in ferie (^______^) e ho programmato sia questo post che quello di venerdì prossimo. Mi scuso fin d'ora perché molto probabilmente non potrò rispondere ai vostri commenti o commentare i vostri post se non al mio rientro.
Oggi tiro fuori dal mio helmer due reperti archeologici!! Sono i miei due smalti più vecchi e ancora in ottimo stato in mio possesso: peccato che non vengano più prodotti perché sono delle chicche!!
Amanti degli smalti scuri venite a me: questi fanno per voi!!

Il primo che vi mostro è il 734, il Black Ruby.
Se all'ombra è un rosso scuro quasi nero

How are you? This week I'm on holidays (^ ______ ^) and I planned this post and the next one. I apologize because maybe I won't be to answer to your comments or I won't be able to comment your posts. Anyway I'll do it as soon as I'll be back!

Today I get out from my helmer two archaeological polishes! They are my two oldest and still in excellent condition polishes. It's a shame that they are no longer produced because they are absolutely cool!

Lovers of dark polishes come here: these are for you!

The first is #734, Black Ruby.

Tenete presente che ho dato una sola passata ed è già coprentissimo! Insomma, lo adoro, ed è anche il mio preferito dei due.


It's a  perfect one-coater! I love it and it's my favourite between these two.



Il secondo è il 735, il Black Brown. E' un marrone scurissimo quasi nero, con uno shimmer leggero, ma presente, che va dall'oro al rosso. Ci vogliono almeno due passate per la coprenza totale, però neanche lui ha risentito del peso degli anni :-))) Se cliccate sulla prima foto vedrete lo sbrilluccichio multicolore dello shimmer!

The second one is the #735, Black Brown. It's a very dark brown, almost black, with a slight shimmer, ranging from gold to red. It takes at least two coats for full coverage, but still young referring to its formula :-))) If you click on the first picture you will see the multicolored bling of its shimmer!

Twinsie Friday - duochromes: Enchanted Polish Bonjour Paris

Ciao a tutte!!
Oggi è l'ultimo appuntamento per i nostri duochromes del venerdì! Non preoccupatevi, c'è sempre qualcosa che bolle in pentola per il futuro, e lo scoprirete presto!
L'ultimo multichrome che ho scelto per voi è il fratello di Ola Rio , Bonjour Paris. Se vi è piaciuto Ola Rio, direi che lui potrebbe sorprendervi ancora di più! E' stato forse più ostico da fotografare, anche perché ho scelto una base un po' diversa dal solito nero, ma alla fine spero di avere trovato la luce giusta ^___^
Ho usato lo Shaka Pandora, un blurple shimmeroso e bellissimo che si merita un post a parte in futuro. I glitter di Bonjour Paris virano dal blu/viola all'arancio/oro/fuchsia.

Today is our last Twinsie Friday - duochromes! But don't worry, there's always something in store for the future, and you'll find out it soon!

The last multichrome that I have chosen for you is the brother of Ola Rio, Bonjour Paris. 

If you liked Ola Rio, maybe Bonjour Paris might surprise you even more! It has been hard to take some good pictures, because I've chosen a base a little bit different from the usual black. 

I used Pandora by Shaka, a shimmery blurple so beautiful that it deserves a separate post in the future. Bonjour Paris's glitters shift from blue/purple to orange/gold/fuchsia.

Polish Days - To boldly go... Galaxy nails

Ciao a tutte!!

Oggi vanno di scena i Polish Days!! Il tema di questo mese lo tradurrei liberamente con il "Verso l'infinito e oltre" del Buzzlightyear di Toy Story (da appassionata di film d'animazione me li sono visti tutti e tre :-) )
Ecco come ce lo descrive Hannah di Polly Polish:

Whether it's sci-fi or sci-real (yep, I'm going with that terrible wording) it fits the theme for June.

Maybe you're a Trekkie, or perhaps a Star Wars fan, or maybe just a lover of all thing sci-fi. Maybe you love space and dreamed of being an astronaut. Perhaps like me you just haven't gotten around to doing a galaxy manicure and this would be a good excuse to give it a whirl.

In effetti era tanto tempo che volevo provare una galaxy manicure, così ho preso l'occasione al volo e mi sono lanciata nell'impresa! :-)

Posso dirvi che mi sono divertita davvero molto a paciugare con i colori e con le spugne: il risultato è un po' sconclusionato, però vi assicuro che da lontano sembravano davvero galassie lontane :-)) 

Ho intenzione di riprovarci e perfezionarmi nella tecnica: d'altronde sbagliando ed esercitandosi s'impara!

Today it's Polish Days! The theme of this month it's  To bloldly go.... and that's reminds me the "To infinity and beyond" by Buzzlightyear from Toy Story (I love all the 3 Toy Story :-)) )

I can tell you that I enjoyed very much to play with colors and with sponges: the result is a bit messy, but  I'm going to try again and improve my technique. With practice and mistakes it's possible to learn!

Twinsie Post - Safari : Zebra!

Ciao a tutte!!
Oggi andiamo in Africa!! La mia smaltamica Francesca ha avuta questa splendida idea di una giornata di nail art a tema safari: ognuna di noi pubblicherà una nail art ispirata al mantello o alla pelle (se si tratta di un rettile) di un animale della savana.
Sapete che ultimamente ho scoperto la passione dello stamping? Ebbene, fra i miei plates ne ho uno con il disegno delle strisce della zebra: potevo non approfittarne?
Per la base ho usato un'altra delle mie passioni: glitter a base bianca! Ne ho diversi, e ho scelto questo perché i glitter s'intravedono appena in mezzo alle strisce nere e non disturbano l'insieme della stampa. Si tratta di un Pretty & Polished, The Young Hero, della Mathematical Collection ispirata al cartone The Adventure Time. Io adoro questo cartone: l'ho guardato spesso su Boing con mio figlio, e ho preso ben 5 minibottigliette di questa collezione!
Come plate ho usato il Konad m57 e per stampare ho usato il Konad black.

Today we go to Africa! My nail polish friend Francesca had this wonderful idea of a safari-themed nail art: each of us will post a nail art inspired by the coat or skin (if it is a reptile) of an animal of the savannah.

Do you know that I've recently discovered a passion for the stamping? Well, one of my plates has the design of the stripes of the zebra: so I had to use it!

For the base I used another one of my passions: a white-based glitter! I chose this one because here the little glitters just glimpsed amid the black stripes, and do not clash with the zebra design. It's a Pretty & Polished, The Young Hero from the Mathematical Collection inspired by the cartoon The Adventure Time. I love this cartoon: I have often watched it on an Italian channel with my son, and I took 5 mini-bottles from this collection!

I used the Konad m57 plate and the Konad black nail polish (special for stamping).

TwinsieFriday - duochromes: Glitter Gal Last Light Brilliant

Ciao a tutte!!
Il brand australiano Glitter Gal è famoso per i suoi smalti olografici, ma ha fatto anche dei duochromes!! L'anno scorso ha lanciato due linee di shade shifters; ne ho presi due dalla Brilliant Shade Shifters perché ero rimasta folgorata dagli swatch di Scrangie .
Oggi vi mostro quello che secondo me è un po' più particolare, il Last Light Brilliant. Ha una base rossastra con finish glassflecks su cui spicca uno shimmer fortissimo, che va dal verde acquamarina-celeste al rosa. E' molto sheer, quindi l'ho provato su due basi. La prima è un nude, per mostrarvi com'è quasi al naturale: due passate su Illamasqua Monogamous nelle foto che seguono.

The Australian brand Glitter Gal is well known for its holographic polishes, but it has also made some duochromes! The last year it launched two lines of shade shifters. I've bought two from the Brilliant Shade Shifters Collection because I fell in love with Scrangie's swatches!

Today I'll show you Last Light Brilliant. It has a reddish base with a glassflecks finish on which stands out a strong shimmer, ranging from aqua green-blue to pink. It's very sheer on its own, so I tried it on two bases. The first is a nude: two coats of Illamasqua Monogamous in the following pics.

Poi l'ho steso su base nera (A-England Camelot), e qui diventa praticamente un altro smalto! La base rossastra scompare e rimane solo il suo riflesso duochrome!

Kiko 427 Amable Chartreuse + stamping

Ciao a tutte!!
Stasera vi mostrerò uno dei due smalti della LE Fierce Spirit che mi sono portata a casa (il secondo è l'altro verde ^__^ Sono nel mio periodo verde!!), il Sun Pearl 427,  famoso per il suo color Shrek ^__^!!
E' un verde chartreuse molto brillante e molto estivo con uno shimmer dorato molto evidente, quindi se vi piacciono i colori un po' più originali questo fa per voi!
E' molto pigmentato, perfettamente opaco in due passate, ma ho trovato la sua formula un po' troppo densa e difficile da stendere.

Tonight I'll show you one of the polishes from the LE Fierce Spirit that I took at home (the second one is the other green ^ __ ^ I'm in my green period!), the Sun Pearl 427, famous for its Shrek color ^__^!
It's a very bright chartreuse green, very summery with a golden shimmer very strong. 
So if you prefer original colors, this is for you!
It's very pigmented, perfectly opaque in two coats, but I found his formula a bit too thick and difficult to apply.
